A Douglas County woman is clinging to life in a Denver-area hospital after being found alive in her wrecked car five days after going missing. Kristin Hopkins, 43, of Highlands Ranch, was rescued on Sunday afternoon after hikers found her badly mangled car. She was airlifted to St. Anthony Hospital. The car Hopkins was driving apparently ran off Red Hill Pass just off Highway 285 near Fairplay in the South Park area.Authorities said no tracks on the roadway were left from the crash and that the car was hidden from traffic.
