Highway crash injuries in U.S. continue to decline every year
Monday, June 2nd, 2008 AutoThe number of people injured in crashes on U.S. highways has declined every year since 1995, according to federal officials. Transportation Secretary Mary E. Peters noted that there were 4.8 percent fewer injuries in 2006 (2,575,000) than in 2005.
