Insurance claims haunt Norfolk

The history of insurance claims against the county is continuing to wallop its pocketbook. The county’s annual insurance premium will increase by 4.9% next year. This translates into $69,248, bringing next year’s premium to $1,469,597. This is paltry compared to the 40% increase to this current year’s premium. This carried a price tag of $429,600.
