Monday, October 20th, 2014 Auto Liability

The Pennsylvania Turnpike has reopened after a jackknifed tractor trailer caused a portion of the highway in Bensalem, Bucks County to close on Thursday. The accident occurred around 10:50 a.m. The cab of the tractor trailer was partially hanging off the roadway above the Neshaminy Creek for over two hours before crews managed to remove it just before 1:00 p.m. The driver was able to exit the truck. The driver’s condition has not been released. Officials say a saddle tank ruptured on the tractor trailer which led to fuel leaking into the creek.
