Jeep Hits Amish Buggies Head-On In Ohio

Two Amish buggies and a car were involved in a crash in Tuscarawas County Sunday morning, sending 8 people to area hospitals. It happened at Chestnut Road Road and Lawnfield Road in Wayne Township at 8 a.m. The Ohio State Patrol reports that a Jeep was traveling east on Chestnut Ridge Road when it crossed left of center, hitting the buggies head on. Both drivers and all the passengers in the buggies were ejected. The Jeep drove off the road and eventually stopped in a wooded area. The two people in one buggy, a 55-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, were taken to Aultman Hospital.
