John Deere recalls lawn tractors

Friday, September 16th, 2011 Auto Property Subrogation

John Deere has recalled more than 20,000 lawn tractors sold at John Deere dealers, Lowe’s and Home Depot stores from October 2010 to September 2011. Models D100, D110, D120 and D130 are recalled because hardware used to hold the mower blade brake assembly to the mower deck can break, causing the mower blades to spin longer than normal after power to the mower is turned off. This poses a laceration hazard, but no injuries have been reported.
