Kenai (AK) storm damage expected to top $2M

An official with the Homer Electric Association expects this month’s wind storms on the Kenai Peninsula to wind up costing more than $2 million. Joe Gallagher tells the Peninsula Clarion that figure includes equipment and personnel costs to restore power. Three storms left more than 13,000 homes without power at some point of the month.
