A Louisville woman was arrested after police say she filed false insurance claims worth several thousand dollars.
Naisha Adams, 29, was arrested Wednesday night for allegedly taking part in what police have called a "large staged crash ring." Officials say Adams and other suspects rented a U-Haul truck and purchased insurance. Investigators say Adams and another suspect then crashed the truck into another vehicle on July 2 in order to claim the insurance money, which totaled more than $100,000.
