Jury selection is scheduled to begin Monday in the case of a politically connected Buckingham woman accused nearly four years ago of a $20 million insurance fraud scheme involving a fire that heavily damaged her family’s million-dollar Stony Hill Road mansion. The trial for Claire Risoldi, 71, could begin as early as Tuesday, according to Joe Grace, a spokesman for the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, which is prosecuting Risoldi in Bucks County court on a long list of charges in connection with insurance claims filed after a 2013 fire at the family’s 10-acre estate known as Clairemont. Risoldi also faces charges in separate cases of witness intimidation.
