Man Critically Injured When Train Strikes RV

A Brownsburg man was critically injured after a train struck his RV on Tuesday evening. The crash happened just before 6:30 p.m. in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street in Brownsburg. Witnesses said the RV was stopped on the tracks when it was struck by an eastbound CSX train. The driver of the RV, Stephen Stapp, 71, was found lying in the grass about 50 feet from the crossing. He was taken to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis in critical condition.
