Mattress On California Freeway Causes Accident
Thursday, December 18th, 2014 Auto LiabilityA mattress on the freeway caused a crash that sent two drivers to the hospital Tuesday. The collision happened at about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 78 after a gray sedan stopped on the freeway to avoid hitting a mattress that fallen on the roadway. A Fox 5 photographer was at the scene to get shots of the mattress and was recording when an SUV going at freeway speed rear-ended the sedan. Both vehicles were badly damaged. Both drivers were injured and taken to the hospital, but they are expected to make full recoveries from their injuries.
