Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company has appealed the landmark court decision which supported insurers in their refusal to cover storm surge damage from Hurricane Katrina. Although the case was seen as a victory for the insurance industry, Nationwide wants a federal appeals court to review the technical portions of the ruling.
