Thursday, January 27th, 2005 — Nationwide Insurance, Floridas fourth largest insurer has asked for a 28.3 percent rate increase for all homeowners in wake of the terrible hurricane season the state sustained this summer. Although Nationwide is asking for the increase, they are not the first company to do so after this years multiple hurricane season.
