News 14 Carolina reporter hospitalized after being hit by car

A member of our News 14 Carolina family is in the hospital Thursday morning. Reporter Caroline Vandergriff is recovering from injuries suffered Wednesday night while covering a story. She was shooting video of downed power lines at the intersection of East Morehead Street and Kenilworth Avenue. Two vehicles collided at the intersection and careened out of control. One of the cars hit Caroline.
