Damage to property in Flathead and Lake counties was heavy and widespread, authorities said.
“Compared to what we’re normally used to, I would call the damage moderate to severe,” said Mark Peck, director of Flathead County’s Office of Emergency Services. The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to more than 100 calls relating to storm damage Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
