Ohio Senator Admits Distraction Caused His Crash

State Senator Bob Peterson is back in his seat at the Statehouse after a distracted driving crash kept him away the last week. Peterson took a few minutes on the floor to thank his colleagues and talk about the importance of keeping your eyes on the road. "I have been affected by this; you know life is very precious," said Peterson. He was reminded just how precious last week when he crashed his van into the back of a semi-truck. "We are so fortunate that I only hurt my wrist. I didn’t hurt anybody else. The truck was largely unharmed.” He escaped major injury, but learned a major lesson -- one about distracted driving.
