Friday, April 20th, 2007 — The Oklahoma Senate passed an omnibus tort reform bill on Thursday on a narrow vote of 25-23. NAMIC sent an alert Wednesday to members operating in Oklahoma asking them to contact their state senators and encourage them to vote for SB 507. Last year, a tort reform package passed the House of Representatives, but was killed in the Senate.
