Nine people were hurt and one woman died after extreme weather swept through Georgia at the beginning of the week. The storms were part of a severe weather front that has hit the southeastern United States causing tornado warnings to last until Wednesday afternoon and forcing many airport delays. Over 100 homes were damaged in Miller County and Wayne county sustained damage to 35 homes where 10 of them were completely destroyed.
