One hurt in collision with police vehicle

Tuesday, June 24th, 2014 Auto Liability

At least one person was injured when a Mankato police vehicle collided with a Subaru Outback on Riverfront Drive near Hickory Street at about 8 p.m. Monday. Rescuers tore the Subaru apart to remove one person from the vehicle, though his or her condition was unavailable. The Subaru’s two other occupants were apparently unhurt. One of them was taken to the hospital for observation, Sgt. Justin Neumann said. The driver of the police vehicle also appeared unhurt and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
