One person was hospitalized after being trapped for several hours under a collapsed building in LaGrange. It happened around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at 2100 Fendley Mill Road near a rock quarry. Two workers were in the process of dismantling a tower from a vacant concrete plant that has been closed for years when the building fell on one of the men, trapping him under wood and metal. "Brandon was trapped face down in the mud," said Lance Vincent a firefighter and paramedic with Harrod’s Creek Fire Department who assisted with the rescue.
