Claims Magazine's annual salary survey has found that over the past year, staff claims personnel received more benefits than independents while independents made overall gains in average salaries. Independent and staff adjusters are provided cell phones at similar rates by their employers, but independents are significantly behind staff adjusters in receiving laptops, company cars and other perks.
