Palm Scanning Technology In Use To Combat Health Insurance Fraud

This new technology is being implemented in health centers to reduce potential insurance and identity fraud. "We’ve raised the bar on patient identification, safety and security," proclaimed Colin Carey, manager of patient access at Park Ridge Health. So do people really pretend to be other people to get healthcare? "Yes, it does happen," Carey said. "More often than you’d realize."
