Police in Ionia County say a person has suffered unknown injuries after falling from the roof of a lumber business and being impaled on a fence post. The incident unfolded shortly after 9:00 a.m. at Big L Lumber in Campbell Township/Village of Clarksville. Dispatchers confirm that the victim was impaled from the hip to the shoulder after falling an unknown distance from the roof of a building. An Aero Med helicopter was requested due to the severity of the situation, but it was unable to fly due to the dense fog.
