Phantom Rider Files Claim For $10K In Medical Bills
Tuesday, December 1st, 2015 Fraud LiabilityA Wilkes-Barre man was charged Monday with insurance fraud after allegedly lying about his involvement in a car crash and racking up thousands of dollars in medical bills. Martin “Marty” Carroll, 45, of 996 Scott St., is charged with felony counts of filing a fraudulent claim and theft alleging he tried to saddle Progressive Insurance with nearly $10,000 in medical expenses the provider was not responsible for covering.
