Residents in a White Bear Township senior living community are starting to clean up, after a water main break flooded eight units in the complex Saturday morning. White Bear Lake District Fire Chief Joel Hewitt said 10 residents were displaced after the line burst open, sending high-pressure water straight into the town homes. No one was injured, according to Hewitt. Steve Ness lives in the unit closest to White Bear Parkway, where the line was located. "It was a cannon shot into my living room window," Ness said, standing in what’s left of his unit Saturday evening.
