Rhode Island launches online worker’s comp verification
Wednesday, November 17th, 2010 Technology Workers' CompensationRhode Island is the latest New England state to launch an online system that lets businesses and consumers verify whether an organization has workers’ compensation insurance coverage. The verification site is a partnership with the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) that links to a national database for workers’ compensation coverage by employer name or federal employer identification number.
