Rio Linda HS teacher, coach dies in bicycle accident

Students and teachers gathered at Rio Linda High School to remember a teacher who died Tuesday morning after a bike accident that took place one day earlier in the parking lot of the school’s athletic field. Marion Adams was a multimedia teacher as well as a track and football coach, according to the Twin Rivers School District. Relatives of 59-year-old Adams told KCRA 3 he was impaled after riding his bike into the arm of a yellow gate while leaving a track practice coached Monday.
