No injuries have been reported after a partial roof collapse forced evacuations in Highland Park. It happened at the townhomes on Lomo Alto Drive, just off Lemmon Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday. Residents in the three affected townhomes were all home at the time. There is a 20 foot by 20 foot hole in the roof on the northwest side where the roof came crashing down onto the third floor. The weight of that caused the third floor to collapse onto the second, and the second collapsed onto the first.
