Roofing Worker Dies, Another Injured At Minneapolis Stadium
Wednesday, August 26th, 2015 Workers' CompensationOne worker has died and another was seriously injured when they fell on Wednesday while performing roofing work on a football stadium being built in downtown Minneapolis for the Minnesota Vikings, an official with the stadium contractor said.
The workers immediately received medical attention at the U.S. Bank Stadium site and were taken to a hospital, John Wood, a Mortenson Construction senior vice president, said in a statement. All work on the stadium has stopped, Wood said.
