Authorities are working to determine what caused an accident that ultimately killed one person Wednesday night. Slick roads "played a role" in the accident that shut down several lanes of I-10 Ramsgate Drive and Huebner Road around 6:30 p.m., a sergeant at the scene said. While one person was pronounced dead on arrival, a man and a woman in other vehicles were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. Authorities said six cars and one big rig were involved in the wreck.
