State Farm and Ford Motor Company have partnered to potentially reduce auto insurance costs by as much as 40 percent. Through State Farm’s Drive Safe & Save insurance discount program, Ford vehicles equipped with Ford SYNC would automatically report their mileage to State Farm via the Vehicle Health Report, a standard feature of SYNC, which has been available since the 2009 model year. The amount of savings would be determined by the number of miles driven.
