Storms bring high winds, hail

Randy Pennington said he's never seen a storm like it. Steve Shupak, who caught the same storm in Absarokee a few hours earlier, said the same thing. "We got pounded pretty good," Pennington said. "It was really coming down. It's the biggest hail storm I've ever seen." Historically speaking, it might not be the worst the area has seen, but it's hard to argue with people who were caught in a nasty series of storms that hammered south-central Montana and Billings on Wednesday with large hail and high winds.
