Violent storms swept through central New Hampshire on Thursday and destroyed several homes, killing a woman inside her home with her husband and infant grandchild. Police and firefighters were searching door-to-door for more victims in the area on Northwood Lake, and probably would through the night state Fire Marshal William Degnan said at an evening briefing.
