Students Find Americans Willing To Pay For ID Theft Insurance
Monday, June 27th, 2005 PropertyAmericans who are willing to pay for a personal information protection insurance plan should expect to pay about $88 annually, according to an online survey by graduate student researchers at Boston University. Through an online survey of 1,049 US adults, the students found that four out of five Americans agree that identity theft is a major problem in the United States, and nearly a third of those surveyed are very concerned that they could be a victim of identity theft in the next five years.
