An Elk Grove teacher who was involved in a science experiment that led to the injuries of two students was placed on paid administrative leave. The two eighth-graders were injured during a science experiment Monday afternoon. One of the students was transported to nearby hospital for further treatment and observation. The students suffered eye injuries in the incident near Joseph Kerr Middle School, according to Cosumnes Fire Department.
