U.S. insurance executives report that despite improving market conditions, they remained concerned about their companys performance and the industrys ability to generate underwriting profit amid continuing economic concerns and the Dodd-Frank reform package. More than half (51 percent) of the 300 executives surveyed by KPMG LLP say that business conditions most relevant to their businesses have improved, but 28 percent reported conditions are the same, according to a recent survey.
