Suspects sought in Alabama ATM thefts

Jefferson County authorities are on the lookout for some ATM thieves. Police think there are two locations the suspects hit on Thursday morning. In the surveillance video at the second location, you can see the men break through the door, walk to the back of the store and tie chains around the ATM and pull it out of the store. A man who works at the gas station arrived just moments after the thieves’ departure. He says if he had showed up to work two minutes earlier, he could have caught the thieves. Authorities think these same men broke into a location in Hueytown this morning. They tried, but did not take the ATM there.
