Thursday, May 5th, 2016 Auto Liability

A Honda SUV hurtled into a CVS store this evening, toppling a brick wall and sending five people to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, authorities said. The crash, which occurred at around 6:20 p.m., at 2000 Commerce Street, injured the driver and four others in the store, said Yorktown Police Lt. John LaPlanca. He said that while it was too early in the investigation to determine a cause for the crash police believed the driver had a "medical condition." Jessica Griffin, an employee at the CVS, was working in the back pharmacy when the SUV smashed through the store’s glass and brick front wall.
