Sweet Leaf Tea Recalling 1.5M Bottles After Complaints Of Glass Fragments

The Sweet Leaf Tea Co. is voluntarily pulling 1.5 million bottles of its flavored iced tea from store shelves around the country, after the company received four complaints of glass fragments in the bottles. The company, owned by Nestlé Waters North America, announced the recall Thursday and said it was acting out of an "abundance of caution." The recall affects 16-ounce glass bottles distributed nationally between Feb. 27 and Dec. 6. No injuries have been reported, company spokeswoman, Jane Lazgin, told ABC News.
