Taxi Jumps Curb Into O’Hare Airport Doorway
Tuesday, May 31st, 2016 Auto LiabilityA vehicle slammed into a doorway at O’Hare Airport on Memorial Day as travelers flocked home following their holiday travels. The accident happened just after 5:30 p.m. when a taxi jumped a curb, police said. Witnesses reported the crash happened in Terminal 3, some saying it took place near the baggage claim area for American Airlines. Photos from the scene showed the vehicle in the middle of two doorways with shattered glass around it. Police said the driver of the vehicle is expected to be cited in the crash. No injuries were reported.
