Thetford Township, Mich. home explodes, 2 killed

Genesee County authorities now confirm that two people were killed after a house exploded in Thetford Township in the 3000 block of East Vienna Road. Crews on the scene tell TV5’s Andrew Keller two people, who had been unaccounted for earlier, have been found. They are believed to be the home’s owners. They’ve been identified as Dave and Sue Miller. One person was taken the hospital following the explosion. The home was completely destroyed by the blast. "The east and west walls were blown out from the explosion. We knew there were three people who were supposedly in the house, we were able to get one out of the house," said Thetford Township police Chief Bob Kenny.
