Three Utah trick-or-treaters hit by cars; one critically injured

Three Utah children were injured Monday night when they were struck by cars while trick-or-treating. Jayden Rathbone, 13, is in critical condition after he was struck by a car while trick-or-treating in Uintah. Jayden was walking with his stepbrother on the side of the street at 6600 South and U.S. 89 when he was struck around 9 p.m. "[The 71-year-old driver] just didn’t see him. We don’t suspect anything with the driver at all. From our standpoint, it was an accident," said Lt. Matthew Bell of the Weber County Sheriff’s Office.
