A dog attack Wednesday evening in Stockton left a toddler without his left index finger, according to police. On Thursday, the boy’s family told KCRA 3 the police aren’t taking their case seriously enough. Officers said the 18-month-old boy was playing in his grandmother’s backyard when he stuck his finger through the fence and the neighbor’s pit bull bit it off. The boy was rushed to the hospital, but doctors were unable to re-attach his finger.
