Toddler Plunges Down Open Drain
Friday, April 22nd, 2011 Fraud LiabilityA two-year-old is being treated at the hospital for a skull fracture after falling down an open drain. Vakiya Williams fell down the hole while running on the sidewalk outside of her grandmother’s apartment in southeast Atlanta. Several residents at the Villas at Lakewood apartments said they were concerned about the drain only being covered with a thin piece of wood. "It’s like terrifying, I have nieces and nephews in the area," nearby resident Devora Plant said.
