Tort reform group names ’Judicial Hellholes’
Wednesday, December 17th, 2008 Auto Liability Litigation Property Workers' CompensationWest Virginia tops the American Tort Reform Foundation’s 2008/2009 list of "Judicial Hellholes," according to a report issued Tuesday. The Washington-based civil justice reform group defines "judicial hellholes" as jurisdictions where judges "systematically apply laws and court procedures in an inequitable manner, generally against defendants in civil lawsuits."
