A tow truck driver helping a disabled car off the highway also helped save a second victim who had driven off an embankment. Robert Hooper, a driver for All Star Towing and Recovery, was helping a couple, Janey Smith and Roger Walters, whose car had problems while driving on Highway 20 in Linn County Monday. While Hooper was loading the car onto his tow truck, Smith pointed out a second car that had gone down and embankment and hit a tree. "I was just looking around and I said, ‘O my gosh! There's a car upside down there,'" she recalled.
