
Tropical Storm Bill formed Monday night in the Gulf of Mexico, according to the National Hurricane Center. Bill was moving north-northwest, toward the Texas coast, at 13 mph and with maximum sustained winds of 50 mph. The storm is expected to bring heavy rain and possible flooding across portions of eastern Texas and western Louisiana, the National Hurricane Center said. Tropical Storm Bill, which is the second named storm of the season, is not expected to impact Central Florida.
