At least one person was injured getting off a plane at Orlando International Airport on Tuesday when a tug hit the jetbridge, officials said. United Airlines Flight 1294 from Houston arrived at OIA Gate 44 at 10:37 a.m. and as passengers were getting off the plane, the jetbridge was hit, according to OIA officials. The tug driver, who is not an OIA employee but a company contracted through United Airlines, suffered an injury to the leg and was taken to the hospital. OIA officials said a child in the jetway bumped his head, but his parents refused medical treatment for the child.
