
Two people were killed in a fiery five-car pile-up on an expressway just outside Kennedy Airport early Wednesday, according to a report. At least one car caught fire following the 5 a.m. crash on the Nassau Expressway in Lawrence on the Queens/Long Island border, according to News 4 New York. Medics took two others victims to area hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately known. Two of the drivers were taken into custody, sources told News 12 Long Island. Charges were pending. The multi-car crash came as a heavy fog blanketed the area at the start of Wednesdays morning commute.
