Two Texas Campus Cops Injured in Knife Attack

Two Eastfield College police pfficers in Mesquite were injured during a knife attack on campus late Monday night.
Mesquite police said one of the officers was patrolling the C building on campus when he noticed a man, identified as 22-year-old Miguel Sarinana, going into the classroom. The officer confronted the man. Police said Sarinana then began to attack the officer with a knife and stabbed him several times. Another Eastfield police officer came to help and was also cut. There was a struggle, and pepper spray was used.
